New Malware - Windows Antivirus 2008 - Pretends to be a Part of Windows Security Center

 WindowsAntiVirus2008 is a rogue "anti-spyware" program that is harmful to your computer and your pocketbook. While it looks convincingly like a Microsoft product WindowsAntiVirus2008 is actually a malware program that attempts through popups and fake scans attempting to scare you to purchase the full version. It also allows the installation of a wide variety of other malware and Trojans. WindowsAntiVirus2008 is very difficult to remove and should only be done by a skilled computer tech – do not attempt to fix this on your own if you are uncomfortable working with the nuts and bolts of Windows and the Windows Registry.
